This is an exciting opportunity to join the Right at Home team in Cork. Right at Home provides quality professional home care to our clients to enable them to live independently in their own homes.

Job Summary:
- Assisting with both personal and practical care tasks e.g. dressing, washing/bath, very light household work, meal preparation
- Facilitating independence and social involvement i.e. trips, shopping, banking, community activities
- Ensure dignity, privacy and independence are maintained and respected at all times
- Reporting any issues to our Care Manager or Supervisor team.
Rates:
€13.10 - €15.00 per hour plus paid travel time and (increased rate Sundays and bank holidays)
*Rate scale increases depending on qualifications and experience*
Shifts available:
- Mornings and lunch (8/9 am – 2 pm)
- Evenings (5 pm onwards – no later than midnight)
- Weekends

Requirements for this role:
- Kind, compassionate and caring personality
- Reliable and trustworthy with a strong commitment to providing high levels of care
- Fluent in English
- Eligibility to work in Ireland
- Full clean driver's license with own transport (highly desirable)
- Be available to cover an occasional weekend shift (when required)
Relevant qualifications and experience accepted:
- Must be enrolled in or have completed a QQI Level 5 Healthcare related course (minimum of Care Skills and Care of the Older Person courses)
OR
- Must be in the process of completing a Nursing related qualification
- Experience working in a healthcare setting
- Up-to-date patient moving and handling certificate (desirable)
